Åre village
The centre of the valley — most services, most people.
Åre village is the heart of the valley, with a square, restaurants, shops, ski rental and the train station. The cable car up Åreskutan starts here, and this is where most of the nightlife is.
It suits you if you want everything within walking distance and enjoy a lively base. It is also the most expensive and busiest part, especially in the peak ski weeks.
